The following projects represent the experience of the principals currently working for Roberts Environmental Consulting, Inc.
We have completed Federal and State wetland delineation and permitting projects in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Delaware and Florida. We have assisted clients to resolve enforcement actions with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers resulting from dredge or fill in regulated waters of the United Stated, including wetlands, as well as to obtain permits for major and minor impacts to regulated resource areas.
Principals have designed and implemented wetland creation, restoration, and enhancement projects for stormwater treatment and as compensatory wetland mitigation. We have designed, implemented and monitored successful wetland creation projects in New York, California, and Connecticut.
We have prepared environmental permits and Environmental Impact Statements or assessments for a variety of large and small projects. Major EISs have been prepared under the National Environmental Policy Act for large federal facilities, and in compliance with state environmental review requirements in New York, Massachusetts and Delaware. Principals have managed the preparation of EIS documents and supplemental studies for major projects for the City of New York and State of New York in compliance with CEQRA, ULURP and SEQRA.
We have conducted evaluations of threatened and endangered species assessments including habitat surveys for Karner blue butterflies, Indiana bats, bog turtles and Bald eagles.
We have expertise in designing and conducting scientifically sound water quality and biological studies. We specialize in the collection and analysis of terrestrial and aquatic vegetation data, benthic invertebrate studies. We have extensive experience in statistical analysis of multivariate ecological data.
We have performed ecological risk assessments at Superfund sites throughout New England. We are familiar with EPA ecological risk assessment policy and guidance. Working as contractors with EPA Region I, we have provided review and oversight assistance to EPA site managers for ecological studies produced in conjunction with Remedial Investigations and Feasibility Studies (RI/FSs) and removal Actions at Superfund Sites in New England. Principal is a current member of the Biological Technical Assistance Group (BTAG) for EPA Region I.
